A Council Bluffs native, Mrs. Bond graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1985. She began teaching piano in 1987 while attending college, and has been teaching privately in Kansas, Nebraska, then Iowa the past 21 years. She enjoys accompanying at local schools and churches, and handbell ringing.

Mrs. Bond received her B.A. in Music in 1989 from Washburn University, and her M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1998.
