A Council Bluffs native, Julie Donnelson Bond graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1985. She received her B.A. in Music from Washburn University (1989), and her M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska Omaha (1998).

Mrs. Bond has 25 years of teaching experience including technique, history, theory, ear-training, sight-reading, and musicianship. She also has 31 years performance experience, including solo recital, chamber music, choral, instrumental, and musical theatre. She is President of the SW Iowa Music Teachers Association and Council Bluffs Music Teachers Association Music Festival Chair.

Member of the Music Teachers National Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, and their Iowa and local associations.
