A waterfall was added on August 3rd, 2002. The tule screen over the north side of the pond is an experiment to see if it will prevent leaves from a nearby tree from entering the pond.
How we got from and empty hole to the finished pond.
This was a pretty easy pond to level. No sod to remove and level ground to begin with located under edge of deck.
45mil Firestone pond liner used. You can use roofing liner, but I'd recommend using fish-safe pond liner unless you are willing to take the chance of having to replace the liner if it's toxic. Leftover carpet from our livingroom was used underneath the liner instead of sand to protect the liner.
Missing some rocks, will have to hunt for some more and add more plants and eventually fish. More to come later.
